Students can leave comment and questions tagging their teachers on their assignments.
Teachers can leave comments and feedback on student work, and student can leave questions for teachers on their work as well!
Here is how you locate and view those questions:
1. Make sure you are logged on to your Thinking Nation teacher account.
2. At the top, righthand corner of the screen, there is a bell icon. If there is a small number in yellow, that means that a students has left you a question or comment on their work.
3. When you click on the bell icon, you will see a preview of the student's question along with their name.
4. This will open the student's assignment to the location where they highlighted their text and left a question.
5. To view their question, just go to the "Comment & Replies" button at the top righthand corner of the DBQ page.
6. The highlighted section will be copied into the chat box with the student's question listen below it. To answer the student's question, just click the "Reply" button.
7. A text box will open and you can type your reply. Once finished, click the "Send" button. This will send your response to the student and notify them on their portal.
Reminder: there is an easy to follow step-by-step guide to this and many other processes for the Thinking Nation portals.
